"Men have forgotten this truth," said the fox. "But you must not forget it. You become responsible, forever, for what you have tamed. You are responsible for your rose…"
- Antoine de Saint-Exupéry,
The Little Prince
I grew up in the woods of New Hampshire: amongst the pines, sheep, strawberries, and pets. Since I was five, I have wanted to practice art and have been both fortunate enough and tenacious enough to make this desire a lifelong pursuit. Since leaving my home state in 2007, I have completed my B.F.A. in painting and my M.F.A. in fine arts, as well as working a variety of jobs in attempts of making art my profession. I have lived in Norton (MA), Boston (MA), Portland and Scarborough (ME), Venice (IT), Vilnius (LT), Newcastle upon Tyne (UK), Brooklyn (NY), and my current abode in Greenfield, Massachusetts. I love to travel and have begun to record some of my explorations in the blog Intimacy in Tangents, here on this site. Many things are inconstant in my life - such as my place of residence- but the stable constants are my passions for art, travel, adventure, nature, and writing.
